CO-CHOMUNN NA PAIRC

The Co-Chomunn is the successor to one of the community co-operatives established by the former HIDB in the 1970s.

In 2001 the constitution was changed to a company limited by guarantee (company number 261006). We now have members (former shareholders and others) who elect Directors.

The Co-Chomunn was registered as a charity (SC038920) in 2007.

A new wholly –owned subsidiary company ‘Ravenspoint Trading Ltd) will be established from January 2010 to run the shop and tea-room. This will protect the charity from trading risk.

Vice- Chair: Mary Ann Matheson (Gravir)
