6-13 March 2010 - Gaelic Learners Course  ( New Course dates will be announced here)

At Ravenspoint we have pioneered Gaelic courses for learners which allow them to spend time at the heart of a Gaelic-speaking community. The courses combine:

(i) formal lessons using the new ULPAN approach to learning (developed by Deiseal Ltd with support from Cli Gaidhlig), with tutors from Lews Castle College; and

(ii) visits to the community: a Gaelic church service, the Gaelic-medium unit at the local school, the local history society, a ceilidh, and visits to people’s homes.

Feedback has been enthusiastic because we offer something unique: the chance to experience the life of a Gaelic-speaking community which is unfortunately no longer possible in so many other parts of the Highlands and Islands.
