  • By car: Turn off the main A859 at Balallan, half way between Stornoway and Tarbert, for satellite navigation use postcode HS2 9QA.

  • By bus: Take the W10a/ W9 service  to Balallan, and change at the South Lochs turn, where the bus will be waiting to take you to Kershader.

We’re here for camping too.

If you need to freshen up, then why not make use of the shower room in the hostel? There are washing and drying facilities too. And if you need to camp at Ravenspoint, you’ll find a spot with a view to remember! Showers £2.50pp, washer and dryer £3 each.
