Getting here
- By car: Turn off the main A859 at Balallan, half way between Stornoway and Tarbert, for satellite navigation use postcode HS2 9QA.
- By bus: Take the W10a/ W9 service to Balallan, and change at the South Lochs turn, where the bus will be waiting to take you to Kershader.
- By car: Take the A859 north to Balallan, and turn right at the South Lochs turn (B8060). Ravenspoint is at Kershader. For satnav, use postcode HS2 9QA.
- By bus: Take the W10 service to Balallan, and change at the South Lochs turn, where the bus will be waiting to take you to Kershader
- By car: Take the A9 and A835 to Ullapool, and get the ferry to Stornoway. Then take the A859 to Balallan, and turn left at the South Lochs turn (B8060). Ravenspoint is at Kershader. For satnav, use postcode HS2 9QA.
- By bus: Take the Citylink service to Ullapool, and get the ferry to Stornoway.
- By car: Take the A87 to Uig, and get the ferry to Tarbert. Then take the A859 north to Balallan, and turn right at the South Lochs turn (B8060). Ravenspoint is at Kershader. For satnav, use postcode HS2 9QA.
- By bus: Take the Citilink service to Uig, and get the ferry, then see the directions from Tarbert.

We’re here for camping too.
If you need to freshen up, then why not make use of the shower room in the hostel? There are washing and drying facilities too. And if you need to camp at Ravenspoint, you’ll find a spot with a view to remember! Showers £2.50pp, washer and dryer £3 each.
